Teleprompter CES Style

Teleprompter operators from every nook and cranny of the globe join leaders of the tech world in Las Vegas every year, and take part in broadcasting messages to future investors, marketers, and consumers.

We were lucky to work with the signature pink cellphone provider, T-Mobile at CES 2017 this winter for their Un-Carrier Next Event! John Legere, CEO, announced that T-Mobile was breaking away from the bits/bites style of selling data packages to consumers. He’s simplifying and forcing the industry to change once again.

There’s only one cellphone plan for everyone. No more sorting through pages of rates, taxes and surcharges. He’s tossing away the cellular companies game plans and charting a new path forward.

So… hold up…where does Prompster come in again?

We help T-Mobile communicate their message! Our tools – fancy computers, scrollers…etc –  meet their tools and we all participate in putting on a great press event.

What is involved? What is the teleprompter operator’s role?

Sometimes the entire show rests on the teleprompter operator’s fingers and wrists.We are all about that scroll life.

Other times, only certain elements are prompted and others are ad-libbed or followed along with notes. Depends on the job, the day, the client and venue.

We don’t want to give too much away – but the event was a success!
